A self-driving Uber check SUV riding in Tempe, Arizona was associated with a deadly crash the previous evening, and therefore the Uber car was in autonomous mode at the time the accident occurred, per Tempe Police (via Daisuke Wakabayashi).
The Uber SUV became riding northbound, and a lady crossed in its course outdoor of a crosswalk, at which point she get hit by the car. She was later taken to the doctors, as first revealed by Arizona ABC news affiliate ABC 15, where she died because of her injuries.
